TRAINING: Harvard College Applicant Interviews

Welcome to 2019! We are about to kick off the Harvard College Interviewing Season. As many of you know, we make an effort to interview each applicant for admission to the College. Each year the number of talented applicants grows, and we can only meet our goal with your help!

The location for the Saturday training has been changed. It will now be at Panera Bread at 605 Mall Ring Circle at the Galleria (Sunset and Stephanie/95–across from Sunset Station). We will be there in a private room. There will be light refreshments, but feel free to arrive a little early and buy your lunch and enjoy it during the meeting. The training is one (1) hour: 2pm to 3pm

For those concerned about scheduling and timing—the interview process is not a huge time commitment if we get enough people involved. The interviews last about an hour, and are held at a mutually convenient time and location for you and the student. Afterwards, there is an electronic interview portal through Harvard Admissions to summarize your interview report and rate the applicant. The interview and writing the report takes approximately 2-2 1/2 hours of your time—total. And these interviews are thoroughly engaging. They are a wonderful way to meet some of the best and brightest young people from the Las Vegas Valley and to learn about their fascinating lives and to tell a little bit about your Harvard story as well!
