Jeff Reiman, AB 2004
President Harvard Club of Nevada
Jeff grew up in Sacramento, California before moving to the north east for the first time to attend Harvard College.
At Harvard Jeff studied government, a decision he attributes originally to the access to professors and wide breadth of courses offered, and was then cemented after he interned for then Senator John Kerry the summer following his freshman year.
In addition to his studies Jeff played football where he won an Ivy League championship with Harvard’s 2001 undefeated Football team.
In addition to football Jeff was a collegiate All-American rugby player, played at the Premier level in Australia the summer between his junior and senior years, and was then selected to the US National Rugby Team his senior year.
After graduating, Jeff went to Washington, DC where he once again worked for Senator Kerry on the Senator's Presidential campaign.
After DC Jeff joined a tech start-up in Atlanta GA. After Atlanta he moved back to Boston to join Credit Suisse where he worked on the Sales and Trading floor of the investment bank.
In 2008 Jeff found himself back in government related work when the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act was announced. Jeff left Credit Suisse and moved to Las Vegas to take over his family business where he partnered with the Nevada Hospital Association and secured a grant through the US Department of Commerce to construct a broadband network connecting the acute care hospitals throughout Nevada.
Jeff currently lives in the historic Scotch 80's district in Las Vegas and serves as President of The Broadband Group, an integrated broadband consulting company providing operational planning services to Muncipalities throughout North America.
